Do We trust our Intuition or Science?

DISCLAIMER: This blog was written for Bible-believing Christians..

This question was recently posed on a forum. Many answered in favor of one or the other or both for various reasons. When i thought about it i realized, as a Christian, i can trust neither. You see, the people of the world are searching for things. Some are searching for knowledge and wisdom and peace and happiness. These are wonderful pursuits. But if one is a True Christian, it means one has definitely found something. The bible calls it "the Pearl of great price"..here is how the Lord Jesus Christ describes it...Let us Hear the Word....

Matt 13:45,46

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

When a person gives their heart and life in commitment to Christ, they find something. Something that intuition and science can never give. Of Christ it is said...

1Cor 1:24

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Colossians 2:3

In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

How much knowledge does the God of Heaven possess?

Psalm 147: 4,5
He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
Its always good to seek knowledge.....but when, as a Christian, one begins to put trust in one's own intuition or in Science.....we are disrespecting the God we profess to serve....here the Word...

Jeremiah 17:5-9

Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Let those who know not Christ trust their heart....the people of God should trust Him.....completely. The heart can easily be deceived.......hear the Word....

Luke 22:31

..........behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
In Christ you can become impregnable against the assaults of satan.....without Christ you are an easy target....he can sift you as wheat.......hear the Word...

Rev 12:9

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

emphasis supplied......he deceives the whole world....he deceives those who seek science, intuition, fake christians and all the rest. Only the Remnant cannot be deceived (Rev 12:17) and that is because the remnant ascribe to these .......hear the Word....

Isaiah 8:19,20

And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Isaiah 2:22

Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?
Brothers and Sisters in Christ........its nice to gain and search for knowledge but let us remember who we are in Christ and what we have available to us. These things those who trust in science and intuition do not have. Even Christ, His Word and His precious Holy Spirit.....last verse.....

John 16:13

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Day 86 100% Fruitarian

Wednesday, Day 86, 100% Fruitarian. Busy day today. Hustling about seeking to do my part to provide for my family. In my daily travels i am blessed to meet varied and interesting types of people. i met a man who worked with placing children in foster and adoptive homes. As we spoke i realized he has seen some pretty ugly things. He seemed hardened by it, so that it did not phase him (apparently). i realized that this was a defense mechanism many people use to deal with the ugly things of life. After beholding so much darkness, in order to continue one must harden themselves. i see it in big city police officers and people that work in the prison system. i realized that, i don't want that. i want to be able to appreciate things for how good or bad they are. Not get so used to the good that i take it for granted or to the bad that my heart is hardened. i met another man that is battling to save his sight. He has had many eye operations. There was so much i wanted to share with him, but i could not. Sometimes we can overwhelm people if we are not careful (which is just as bad if not worse than saying nothing at all). But we had a long and very enjoyable conversation. i hope i was able to be used by the Lord to drop some seeds of hope for him to pick up. Ate very well today. i am so thankful that i am able to eat delicious food like this, it is a great blessing. The majority of the planet, either by choice, deception or poverty, does not enjoy this blessing. i pray to be able to help change that in some small way.

Today's meals:

Breakfast:
One watermelon (mini), 6 oranges ...1100 calories.

Lunch:
6 bananas, 4 oranges.....840 Calories

Dinner:
Non-sweet Fruity Salad with mango-banana-avo sauce (i am really feeling avos this past week)......1475 Calories.

Note: i ideally prefer to have the heaviest calorie meal as the middle meal. But because it i have to prepare it, when i am on the road it gets switched. Normally you will notice from previous blogs that i have the non-sweet fruity salad (heaviest meal) in the middle. This is what i prefer for digestion and max energy. .

Exercise:
4 mile powerwalk, 20 minutes of isometric exercises.
